Andrew has been a nationally registered coach since 2007. After passing the rigorous Sport Singapore swimming exams and certifications with flying colors, he has kept up with the best modern teaching methods and approach towards young learners. He is a SwimSafer Instructor, and holds Lvl 1 & 2 certifications from the American Swimming Coaches Association. He is registered under the National Registry of Coaches (NROC), having met all the ethical and professional requirements.
He first started teaching at SpeediSwim (Singapore Sports School and the Orchid Country Club), and continued during his undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington, one of the top swimming programmes in the States.
Besides coaching at numerous local primary schools, such as Anglo-Chinese School Junior (ACS) and Raffles Girls School (RGS), Andrew works with international students, including at the Singapore Korean International School (SKIS) in Bukit Timah. He is also a Singapore Armed Forces Reservist Association (SAFRA) FINS Swim School Instructor, one of the most recognised swim schools in Singapore.
Finally, Andrew offers his services under his personal brand at the Friendly Otter Swim School, to bring high value and satisfaction to parents and children.
